Kabul Review

Last Thursday, due to a few last minute recommendations, we changed the venue and ended up with quite a reasonable sized crowd at Kabul in Sunnyvale. And let me just say, the Afghanis do wonderful things with pumpkins! (You haven't really had Afghani food until you had an entree based around pumpkin.) We also had dumplings (lamb & chickpea & onion?), a lamb-spinach dish remeniscent of Indian saag (with oh so tender lamb, Bryson would like to add), the classic kebab (both lamb and chicken, with beautifully tender roasted tomatoes), and a few other items that I cannot even figure out how to describe. Writing this is making me hungry... :)
